I'm now a Pink Hero
15 April is a special day for our family. In 2020 we lost our beautiful sister Suzie to breast cancer. Each year since, our family commemorate that day with “Lasagne Day”, in reference to all of the lasagnes our family received from friends and loved ones over the days after Suzie’s passing. It became a light hearted and endearing reference for us ever since.
So starting this year, we’d like to use the platform of our restaurant to raise awareness, funds and to remember our sister as the incredibly strong, inspirational woman she was.
Every day 56 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 people in Australia die every day from this disease.
We're hosting Lasagne Day to raise funds for world-class breast cancer research to help National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
