Hi! My name is Aria and I’m 10 years old. I decided that since I have hair, I want to use it to help people. So I’m going to cut it short! I’m also donating my hair so it can be made into a wig for someone who really needs it.
I’m doing this for my Aunty Anastasia because I want to help her and everyone else who has breast cancer. So I’m raising money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) so they can keep doing research.

Thursday 12th Mar For the past 2 days I have been busy with NAPLAN. I got home today and can’t believe that together we have reached $2000! Thank you to everyone who has donated and left messages for me and my Aunty Anastasia. Also my principal has put the link in the school newsletter today. So hopefully together we can raise more awareness for breast cancer research.

Tuesday 10th Mar Thank you so much! This morning I woke up and asked my Mum how the fundraiser was going and I was up to double the amount of yesterday! I was so happy that I was jumping around the house saying yippee all morning because this means that there is more money to go to Breast Cancer Research. This makes me feel happy, joyful and hopeful that they find a cure. Mum is organising with my school to cut my hair but we are waiting on confirmation.Thank you to my Supporters

Dear Aria, You are doing an amazing thing by donating your hair! My mother had breast cancer and with help and support of fundraising, and of kind and smart doctors and nurses, she recovered from her breast cancer! This meant she lived long enough to meet baby Declan and baby Elodie, your friends! She was so happy to become a grandmother!
