I'm now a Pink Hero
56 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 people in Australia die every day from this disease
I've decided to do the Gold Coast Back Yard Ultrad to raise awareness & funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
A Back Yard ultra is a last man standing event where competitors run a 6.71km lap every hour on the hour until only one person remains. It’s a brutal test of mental and physical resilience, much like the experience of those suffering from breast cancer
To Support just make pledge per lap. I’ll be donating $5 for every lap I complete and aim to run at least 30 laps ($150) I’ve designed it this way to keep motivating me to do just one more lap, to not give up, because the more laps I do, the more we all donate.
If you don’t want to make a pledge per lap, but still want to donate that is very much appreciated also.
