This October Top Fruit Market is raising funds for world-class breast cancer research to help National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
Top Fruit Market is proudly founded by Ali Sawan, the same owner behind Top Juice.
After arriving in Australia from Lebanon in 1989, Ali opened a small greengrocer in Double Bay just a few short years later, in 1992. There, he quickly became known for quality produce, honest service, and a genuine connection with his customers.
During those early years, Ali’s passion for fresh produce continued to grow. In 1996, he opened in Rose Bay, bringing the same care, quality, and community feel to another local neighbourhood. By the early 2000s, Ali had also expanded into Market Street David Jones and David Jones on Bourke Street in Melbourne.
His work also extended beyond the shopfront. Ali supplied and catered for some of Sydney’s most well-known households and events, earning the trust of customers who valued freshness, reliability, and care in every order.
Over time, that same passion grew into what is now known as the Top Juice brand. Today, Top Fruit Market returns to those original roots, staying true to everything Ali built from day one: fresh produce, honest food, genuine service, and something made to be shared from our family to yours.
