1 in 7 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.

This cause is close to my heart. Six years ago, I found out I carry the BRCA1 gene (a mutation that significantly raises the risk of breast and ovarian cancer). Knowing meant I could take preventative action, and the path that followed - surgery, recovery, and a lot of reckoning - is ultimately what led me to the work I do now (sound healing).

So this October, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month I want to give back - to contribute to the research that helps others facing the same news, and to support those going through what I was fortunate enough to get ahead of.

I'm hosting a Pink Ribbon sound healing brunch to raise vital funds for breast cancer research and help NBCF towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
