Tongue Out, Pink Fit, Let’s Get On With It 🎀
Wednesday 7th OctTurning 30 + 2, so I’m having a crack at 32km. Don’t like cake anyway 😂
My best friend Annika has organised a 5km Pink Ribbon fun run and BBQ breakfast with our friends and family to raise money for a cause very close to my heart.
My sister Jacinta battled breast cancer, so this one is personal. Seeing someone you love go through that gives you a whole new appreciation for why events like this matter.
In addition to the fun run and BBQ, I’ll be attempting 32km for my 32nd birthday, hoping to raise a little extra along the way.
My longest run so far is a half marathon, so I’m adding almost another 11km to see just how far I can push myself. If my photo from the half marathon is anything to go by, expect the tongue out and some questionable facial expressions 😂
Whether you join us for the 5km, come for brekkie, donate or share this page, thank you for getting behind us. Every bit helps, and it means so much to have your support.
For my sister Jacinta and everyone affected by breast cancer. Let’s get together, wear some pink and raise as much as we can 💗
