Breasties Long Lunch Success

Well, to say I was nervous hosting my very first Pink Ribbon event would be an understatement! I was honestly shaking at the start—but I was also determined to make it a success and raise much-needed funds for such a worthy cause.

I had speeches prepared, thinking I’d read them word for word… but when the moment came, emotions took over and I ended up ad-libbing. Thankfully, no one minded—if anything, it made the day feel even more real and heartfelt.

I had the absolute pleasure of having my partner’s mother speak at the event. She is someone I admire greatly, and it was incredibly moving to hear her share her courageous story with the room.

All of our guest speakers were simply incredible. They shared their personal journeys with such honesty and strength that there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Their courage reminded us all why raising awareness and funds is so important.

And the best part? Together, we raised just over $1,000! ? Every single dollar will go towards supporting those impacted and funding vital research.
