Pink day on the tools! 🎀
Monday 31st AugThree years running, and we're doing it again.
Every October our crews swap the navy for pink and go about the day's work in it — a pink day on the tools — and we put on a breakfast for the team to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
The reason we keep doing it is simple. Every day in Australia, 56 people are diagnosed with breast cancer. More than 3,300 Australians die from it each year — nine lives, every single day. NBCF receives no government funding, so research into detection, prevention and treatment relies entirely on people chipping in.
Three years in, every dollar raised has gone straight to that research.
