Our Pink Ribbon Breakfast is open, and we're matching donations
Every dollar you give, we'll give too, until our $2,500 match is reached.
Throughout October, Rose Training Australia is matching donations to this page dollar for dollar, up to a total of $2,500 from us across the whole campaign. So a $50 gift becomes $100 for breast cancer research, and once the community has raised $2,500 combined, our full $2,500 match kicks in, taking the total to $5,000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Donations beyond that point still go directly to NBCF; they just aren't matched.
Why we're doing this: one in seven Australian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. Almost everyone in our community, students, staff, trainers and their families, knows someone who has faced it. Our students spend their careers showing up for people at the moments that matter most, and this October we want to show up too.
NBCF funds the research that improves detection, treatment and survival, with a goal of zero deaths from breast cancer. Every donation here is tax-deductible and goes straight to that work.

Why Rose Training is going pink this October
Friday 25th SepToday we're announcing something a bit different from our usual updates: for the whole of October, Rose Training Australia is running a Pink Ribbon Breakfast fundraiser for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, and we're putting our own money behind it.
What we're doing
Rather than a single morning, we're running our Pink Ribbon Breakfast as a month-long campaign, from 1 to 31 October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This page is the hub. Every donation made here goes directly to NBCF, and every donation is tax-deductible.
Here's our commitment: Rose Training will match donations dollar for dollar, up to a total of $2,500 from us. If our community raises $2,500 together, we add $2,500 on top, and $5,000 goes to breast cancer research. That's the goal we've set, and we'd love to reach it before the month is out.
Why we're doing it
One in seven Australian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. Put that number against the size of our community, students, graduates, trainers, staff and their families, and it stops being a statistic. Most of us know someone. Some of us are that someone.
The people who train with us choose careers built on being there for others at the hardest and most important moments of their lives. That's the kind of organisation we want to be as well, not just in what we teach but in what we do. Backing research that's working toward zero deaths from breast cancer felt like the right way to act on that.
NBCF doesn't receive government funding for its research. It exists because people and businesses choose to give. We're choosing to.
What happens next
- Donations open on 1 October, and our matching runs for the whole month.
- We'll be talking about the campaign at our webinar on 7 October, and you'll see a banner on our website all month.
- We'll post regular updates here as the total climbs, including some of the messages donors leave (with permission).
