Hi friends,
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I’m raising funds to support vital research and increase awareness of this disease that affects so many lives.
Breast cancer has personally impacted me, I had my first of many scares at 21, lost a close friend at just 26, and two family members have since been diagnosed. Right now, a beautiful friend of mine is courageously undergoing chemotherapy.
As a mum of four daughters, this cause is especially dear to my heart - I want a future where they, and everyone else, have access to early detection, effective treatment, and hope.
But Breast cancer doesn’t discriminate, it affects both women and men. Every day in Australia, 58 people are diagnosed, and sadly, 9 lose their lives. These are confronting numbers, but with continued research and funding, we can improve early detection and save lives.
