Why to support our Pink Ribbon Breakfast
1 in 7 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. I was the 1 in 7! In July 2024 my world was turned upside down, and a brutal 9 months saw me complete chemo, surgery and radiation.
In fact, due to me telling all my friend to get checked, we decided to over achieve and my best friend was also diagnosed - so 2 in 7 in our world. While our Breast cancers and treatment plans were different, the fund raiser will send much needed money that would improve both our stories if it were to reoccur.
That is why we are hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast event this October to raise vital funds for breast cancer research and help NBCF towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
