Breathe for Breast Cancer Research
One in seven women in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
Breast cancer has touched my life personally through my own experience, friends and the loss of my beautiful mother, Isabel, in 2006.
My breast cancer journey is one of the reasons New Day Vibes exists. Breathwork and meditation helped me find space to breathe and sit with what was happening at a time when there was so much noise and uncertainty around me. Through these practices, I began to reconnect with a body that no longer felt like my own and be present with what is, rather than what was or what will be.
This October, I’m hosting Breathe for Breast Cancer Research as part of the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s Pink Ribbon Breakfast campaign to raise vital funds for breast cancer research and help NBCF work towards its vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
Join me on Thursday 22 October for a special 60 minute live online breathwork and meditation session.
Breathe for Breast Cancer Research
Thursday 22 October
8.00–9.00pm Melbourne time
Live online via Zoom
Tickets $30
This special 60 minute live online experience will include gentle guided breathwork and meditation to soften, rest and reconnect to the body.
The session is suitable for all levels. No experience is needed. Settle into bed or find a comfortable place to practise.
The full $30 ticket price will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. New Day Vibes will contribute an additional $5 for every ticket purchased, meaning each booking will raise $35 for breast cancer research.
