As many of you know, this cause is incredibly close to my heart and many of us here at Go Vita. I was just 39 when I received my  first breast cancer diagnosis, and 46 when I faced it again. Breast cancer affects 1 in 7 women in their lifetime—this is a reality too many of us know too well.

But there's hope. With continued research and funding, more women like myself  can survive, thrive, and look forward to many more years with their loved ones.

This October, Go Vita is  hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) and their powerful vision: Zero Deaths from Breast Cancer.
