As many of you know, this charity is incredibly close to my heart. Twenty-four years ago, my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. Watching the incredible advances in medicine over the years has been truly inspiring, and I wanted to do something to give back and make a difference.
Thanks to the generosity of people who donated to breast cancer research and support services all those years ago, my mum received the care she needed and is still with us today. For that, I will be forever grateful.
That is why I decided to host a Pink Ribbon Morning Tea and raise funds for this wonderful cause. Every donation, no matter how big or small, has the potential to change someone’s life.
Thank you to everyone who has donated and supported this fundraiser. I truly hope that together we can make a difference and help someone else’s mum, sister, grandmother, daughter, friend, or any loved one facing breast cancer.
