The Helensburgh Pink Ribbon Fundraising Event

Please support our Pink Ribbon Breakfast event

1 in 7 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.

That is why we are hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast event this October and Breast Cancer Awareness Month, to raise vital funds for breast cancer research and help NBCF towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

Please support us by either joining our Pink Ribbon Breakfast event or donating to our online fundraising page to help us reach our goal.

Together, we can stop deaths from breast cancer.

So Much More Than Fundraising πŸ’–

Thursday 27th Aug

Now in our third year, I feel incredibly proud and honoured to be part of this annual event and to watch it grow and evolve each year.

In our first year we welcomed 255 local women, last year that grew to 391, and this year we’re hoping to go even bigger and better!

This event is deeply personal to me. My beautiful late Aunty Lorraine had breast cancer, while my Oma (her mum) was a breast cancer survivor who went on to live until 91 πŸ’–

They and their memory are the reason why I put that very first event together. Planned in just three weeks and genuinely thought maybe 50 people would come… HA! How wrong I was πŸ˜‚πŸ’•

The support from our little BIG-hearted town has been nothing short of inspiring and heartwarming πŸ™πŸ™Œ

Over the past two years, our incredible community has helped us donate more than $64,000 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation β€” and this year we’re aiming to cross the $100,000 combined donation mark!πŸ€žπŸ’–

But the event has become so much more than fundraising.

It’s an incredibly special and inspiring day that brings our community together, connects local women affected by breast cancer, and helps build strength, awareness and support around them.Β

The day is a beautiful mix of community love, heartfelt stories of survival and resilience, education, empowerment and, most importantly, fun! Giving the women in our community a chance to come together, enjoy a beautiful day out with the girls, recharge and fill their cups.

None of it would be possible without the amazing volunteers, local businesses, sponsors and community members who continue to get behind us year after year πŸ’•

It really has become such a special day for our local Warrior Women and wider community, and we absolutely cannot wait for 17 October 2026! πŸ’–βœ¨
