Support my challenge to swim for breast cancer (and a tribute to all those who are affected by Cancer)!

Every day in Australia, 9 people lose their lives to breast cancer.

This November, I’m taking part in Swim For Breast Cancer for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends, and loved ones who face this devastating disease.

I’m swimming to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), supporting vital research that gives hope and saves lives.

Having lost my dear dad, Ilman Assim, to cancer, I know how deeply it impacts both those who suffer, and the families who love them.

That’s why I want to do my part — as small as it may be. Plus, it gives me the perfect reason to get my mum-bod moving (he he).

Every lap is swum in honour of my dad and for everyone who continues to fight, survive, or grieve.

I believe we can make the journey easier, gentler, and more hopeful for both the sufferer and their family — through research, awareness, lifestyle, and love.
