I'm donating to this cause to raise funds for breast cancer, but also because research into breast cancer also impacts in a positive way on other cancers. For example, the BRCA2 gene fault causes other cancers, including pancreatic, ovarian, melanoma, and possibly bowel cancer. So research which has been done on breast cancer can improve outcomes for other cancer patients.

Thank you to all at Girrahween Lodge, and friends, who donated to my Pink birthday brunch! We all had fun, shared our stories, the weather was wonderful, the food was delicious. Thank you so much to those who brought food, drinks and donations for the prizes. Even the "booby" prizes, in the shape of pink cupcakes ... and a beautiful birthday cake made by Trudie. What a morning. Thank you. The research continues ...
