Pink Ribbon Afternoon Tea at Fed Uni Arts Academy

Hi Everyone!

My name is Ella and I am hosting a Pink Ribbon Afternoon Tea in aid of breast cancer awareness and research.

The event will take place on the 21st of October at the Federation University Camp Street Campus Ballarat in the student lounge from 1:00 to 2:00pm.

This cause is very close to my heart because my Mum is a breast cancer survivor, and I am so grateful for all of the support and resources that we received as a family, throughout and after treatment. 

So I am dedicating this event to my Mum for being an incredible and inspiring role model, and for being the wonderful, kind, loving, funny and strong woman that she is.  

As well as our family, friends, the healthcare workers that cared for my Mum, the survivors, those currently battling and the beautiful, strong people that we have lost.

Through this event, we can help fund life saving cancer research and provide support to patients going through treatment.

56 Australians are diagnosed with breast cancer every day, so it is incredibly important to educate and raise awareness about the disease and its impact. 

I would be so incredibly grateful for donations of any amount which will all go directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Unfortunately only members of the University will be able to attend the event, but I would be so immensely grateful for support or donations from members of the wider community.
