1 in 7 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.  I am that 1 in 7, having recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. I was one of the fortunate ones who found it early and treatment was swift, so I only needed a Lumpectomy not a full Mastectomy.  I will still need to have radiation, although I am grateful not to require Chemotherapy.

Regardless of how small the lump was, IT WAS STILL BREAST CANCER 

That is why I am hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast event this October to raise vital funds for breast cancer research and help NBCF towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

The morning tea is $25 entry, which includes a scrumptious cuppa and cake and $10 goes into the fundraising pool. I am so grateful to The Urban Dragonfly Coffee Lounge for allowing me to host my event in their beautiful space. I am also running a Penny Social Raffle, with many varied prizes and a 50/50 raffle, $20 per ticket, with 3 chances to win from the prize pool of $1000.
