Please support my Pink Ribbon Fundraising month
💗 In Memory of Dave
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this year it holds a very personal meaning for our family.
Earlier this year, we lost my stepfather, Dave, to breast cancer.
When most people think of breast cancer, they think of women. But breast cancer can affect men too, and Dave’s story is a reminder that this disease does not discriminate.
Dave was diagnosed with breast cancer and fought incredibly hard throughout his illness. Sadly, after his battle, we lost him this year. His passing has left a huge hole in our family, and I want to use this year's Breast Cancer Awareness Month to honour his memory and help raise awareness that men can get breast cancer too.
Throughout October, we will be fundraising through our café to support breast cancer research, awareness and support services. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help contribute towards making a difference for people and families affected by this disease.
For us, this isn't just a fundraiser. It's personal.
It's for Dave.
It's for the families who have lost someone they love.
It's for those currently fighting.
And it's for a future where fewer families have to experience the heartbreak of losing someone to breast cancer.
Thank you for supporting our fundraiser and helping us honour Dave's memory. 💗
