Carla's Pink Ribbon Breakfast

Help me reach my goal of $1,500

Let’s band together for this great cause!

1 in 7 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, and I unfortunately was one of them..

I have finished my chemo and radiation treatment earlier this year although still on hormonal treatments and other medications that help decrease the likelihood of it returning, it’s been a really tough journey for both me and my family. Soon it will be one year since my surgery, 25th of September 2024, and we are so so grateful that I am now cancer free! 

Unfortunately we know a few beautiful women going through this horrible journey now, which includes our dear friend Jodie A., and I wish for her, and all others we know who are fighting it, to have the same outcome as me…to be told they are cancer free too! 

So, to celebrate my outcome, along with doing my little bit to help others, I am hosting two Pink Ribbon events this October to help raise vital funds for breast cancer research and help NBCF towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer. We hosted our first on 4th October a Boob-boogie Walk. The next is on this Saturday!!

Please help by supporting me and this great cause, by either joining my Pink Ribbon event or by donating to this online fundraising page to help me reach my goal and NBCF reach theirs. Even if it’s a small donation, it all counts.

WHEN: Saturday 11th of October 2025 

TIME: Meet at 4:00pm at General Public 

LOCATION: 16 Payne Street Frankston

Details;

First raffle drawn at 4:30pm then every half hour until 7pm. 

Drinks and food at bar prices. Feel free to order an early dinner with us at 6:30pm

On the day you can make a gold coin donation (or a donation via this page). There will be a raffle, tickets one for $2 or three for $5.

Boob-boogie Walk was an absolute success!!

I can’t thank my breast-friends enough for coming to help me celebrate and raise funds for this amazing cause close to all of our hearts! We are all fighting for zero deaths of breast cancer and the only way we can do this is by running events like today to raise fund for further research! Also to help those who are going through it today. Thanks all who contributed and our sponsors such as Cuvée Chocolates, Brunch wines, Monique Egan at Arbornne, Creek and Bay, Jess & Remi for the vinyl prizes and to ALL who have donated! Feeling so blessed! We can’t wait to celebrate over dinner and some wines at our next fundraiser Saturday 11th October!! See you there for more amazing prizes and pink fun!!

Boob-Boogie Brunch event details

Wednesday 27th Aug
I have shared the details of my little boob-boogie brunch. It’s a fundraising walk to the park from the library with music and all dressed up in pink (or red for those who can’t find something pink, it’s a shade of pink after all!). 

A gold coin donation can be made on the day or a donation to the page using the QRCode given. Bring your own brunch and I will bring some bottles of water, nibbles and an activity for us to all do together. 

Saturday 4th October 
Meet at the grassed area in front of the Seaford library, we will aim to leave at 10:30am
