Fundraising with my breast-friends!
1 in 7 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, and I unfortunately was one of them..
I have finished my chemo and radiation treatment earlier this year although still on hormonal treatments and other medications that help decrease the likelihood of it returning, it’s been a really tough journey for both me and my family. Soon it will be one year since my surgery, 25th of September 2024, and we are so so grateful that I am now cancer free!
Unfortunately we know a few beautiful women going through this horrible journey now, which includes our dear friend Jodie A., and I wish for her, and all others we know who are fighting it, to have the same outcome as me…to be told they are cancer free too!
So, to celebrate my outcome, along with doing my little bit to help others, I am hosting a Pink Ribbon event this October to help raise vital funds for breast cancer research and help NBCF towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
Please help by supporting me and this great cause, by either joining my Pink Ribbon event or by donating to my online fundraising page to help me reach my goal and NBCF reach theirs. Even if it’s a small donation, it all counts.

Meet at 10:00am on the grass near the Seaford Library & Community Centre
We will aim to leave and boogie our way down to R.F Miles Reserve for brunch.
Wear pink (or red) BYO a picnic brunch
Some nibbles and limited bottled water will be supplied.
On the day you can make a gold coin donation (or a donation via this page) and make a guess of how many lollies in a jar as a fun competition with some prizes and a group activity to do on the day.

Boob-Boogie Brunch event details
