4 years ago my dear friend and bridesmaid Megan Wheeler passed away from breast cancer. She was the glue that bound many friendships, the light and energy at many a BBQ, function or get together. She was the 'auntie' to my kids who would never miss a Birthday, Easter or Christmas. She had a giving nature a truly beautiful soul. Whilst donating to the cause won't bring her back it will honour her and support a cause she believed so strongly in.

1 in 7 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.  

That is why I am hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast event this October to raise vital funds for breast cancer research and help NBCF towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer. 

Please support me by either joining my Pink Ribbon Breakfast event or donating to my online fundraising page to help me reach my goal. 

Together, we can stop deaths from breast cancer.

Good Evening All, 

Thanks so much to each and everyone of you for donating to the NBCF via my Pink Ribbon Morning Tea page. Every bit counts and no donation is too big nor too small. 

A very special thanks to Stuart for his very generous donation of $500 which helped a lot to getting me over my goal of $1,500. The amount was very important to me to get too and words can not express the gratitude I have to you all for being kind and generous with your donations.

There is still 1 day left of October, so if you know of anyone who may want to donate to get me to another milestone of $2,000, that would be great. 

One final statement, give you mum's, wives, sisters, or even sisters from different misters a hug and show them the love and respect that they deserve. 

We all face battles in life, but to all the mum's, sister's and daughters out there that have battled through cancer and come out the other end to tell the story, bless you.
