In Australia, it is estimated that around 20,129 new cases of breast cancer will be diagnosed in women in 2025. This translates to an average of about 58 new cases per day. Breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in Australian women, and the risk of diagnosis increases significantly with age.
