I'M SWIMMING FOR Merran, my Mum
Mum was taken from her loved ones too soon. Breast cancer takes 9 Australian women from their families every single day.
That statistic is mind-boggling... It's about time I do something to help give those still fighting cancer the best possible chance of winning the fight.
Thankfully, Mum taught me to love the water... I'm about to spend a lot of time in it!

Support my 'Swim For Breast Cancer' challenge!
This November, I am taking part in 'Swim For Breast Cancer' for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loved ones who are impacted by this devastating disease.
I'll be swimming a total of 50km throughout the month- this will be made up of 41km of training, and will culminate in a 9km swim on the 30th Nov to honour the 9 Aussie lives lost daily to breast cancer.
I am doing this to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives. Ongoing research is the only way we can improve our understanding of how breast cancer originates, grows and spreads, in order to develop early detection, treatments, interventions, and improve outcomes.
