My beloved mother, Carolyn, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013. This diagnosis greatly impacted our lives. Although she bravely fought and initially overcame the cancer, her body ultimately could not endure, and she passed away on January 20, 2017. 

My mother’s passing deeply affected many, especially the ones who were around her the most. She was the cornerstone of our family in every sense. Her vibrant and cheerful personality earned her the title of ‘neighborhood mum’ to many. 

Mum made countless sacrifices for our family, always striving to provide us with the best. She took immense pride in ensuring our happiness and well-being, often putting her own needs last.

My dear mother was not only a wonderful parent but also my closest friend. The fifteen years I had with her remain the most cherished of my life. I hope to honour her memory by encouraging others to support this organisation. This charity provided care for us during Mum’s illness, and I am eager to give back in gratitude.
