For Amy, for my Aunty, and for every life touched by breast cancer.
9 people in Australia die from breast cancer every single day.
This November, I’m taking part in Swim for Breast Cancer - not just for the 9 people who lose their lives to breast cancer every day, but for the people I love who have faced this disease with courage.
I swim for my aunt, who we sadly lost to breast cancer.
I swim for my close family friend, who survived.
I swim for my friend’s young daughter, whose brave fight ended too soon.
And I swim for my dear friend Amy, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy with incredible strength.
I’m raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to help fund life-saving research — because research gives hope, and hope saves lives.
