Breast cancer has had a profound and personal impact on our lives. My mother’s diagnosis was an incredibly difficult moment, filled with uncertainty and fear for her health and future. Watching her battle through treatments and the emotional toll it took on her was heartbreaking, yet her strength and resilience have been a source of inspiration every day. Alongside my mother, my dearest friend has also been diagnosed, each journey unique but equally challenging. These experiences have brought to light the importance of support, awareness, and early detection, reminding us how deeply breast cancer affects not just individuals but entire families and communities. It has strengthened our commitment to raising awareness and being there for those who need it most. 

1 in 7 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.  

That is why we are hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast event this October to raise vital funds for breast cancer research and help NBCF towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
