Support my challenge to swim for breast cancer!

58 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer every single day.

This November, I am taking part in Swim For Breast Cancer for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loves ones who are impacted by this devastating disease.

I am doing this to raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives.

Please make a donation to support my challenge and let's make a splash to save lives together!

Thank you for your support.

58km down but not out!

Wednesday 19th Nov
We hit it!

58km done so far this month. 3kms everyday and we capped it off with a beach swim.

A massive thank you to everyone who has donated so far! Breast Cancer is such a devastating condition, and I am so grateful for everyone who took the time to support me through this challenge.

58kms was set not just because it was a significant number in terms of National Breast Cancer statistics, but because it seemed doable (considering factors of sickness or inability to get to a pool).

However, hitting our goal so quick has given me another challenge. To keep it up! To not take my foot off the gas when it comes to this mission. It doesn’t end there.

I will continue to swim throughout the remainder of the month of November and continuing to push myself. Never Lift!

Thank you for your continued support.

Half way to 58k!

Monday 10th Nov
Happy Monday everyone!

Today marks day 10 and half way to our 58km (30.50km/58.00km) goal. At this pace we should be done with plenty of time left in November.

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated. Every little amount will make a difference for those experiencing Breast Cancer.

I hope everyone has a great week!

- Marcus

First week done!

Friday 7th Nov
7 days and 21.50km so far!

It’s been a long week. Haven’t swam this much in such a short period of time before, but we never lift!

7 for 7 swimming days this week, averaging 3km per day.

Thank you to everyone who donated this week, you’re all amazing. Breast Cancer is such a severe problem that affects so many women. Not just those with it, but their friends, family and loved ones.

Hoping to keep at this pace for the remainder of the month, and if we exceed 58km then we just keep going.

- Marcus
