My Squat Challenge for breast cancer research
This March, I’m doing 112 squats a day. Every day. For 31 days.
Yes, that’s 3,472 squats. No, I will not be walking normally by April.
Why 112? Because I’m a bit of a maniac — but also because breast cancer research needs relentless, stubborn energy. The kind that keeps going even when it burns.
Breast cancer treatments have come a long way. They save lives. But let’s be honest — they are no walk in the park. Even when treatment is “successful,” the person who comes out the other side is often not the same person who went in. The physical and emotional toll is real.
That’s why research matters.
A $150 donation can help researchers better understand why certain breast cancers are more aggressive and help develop new, more targeted therapies. Because while current treatments are effective, they can be incredibly tough — and we need options that are smarter, gentler, and more precise.
So I’ll do the squats. All 3,472 of them.
If you’re able to donate, you’re not just supporting my questionable life choices — you’re helping fund research that could change outcomes (and experiences) for people facing breast cancer.
Let’s make the burn worth it.
