To my big sister, my hero 🤍 For 9 years, you’ve faced battles that most couldn’t even imagine… and yet, here you are—still standing, still smiling, still fighting with a strength that leaves me in awe every single day. You had 3 beautiful years of being cancer free—years filled with hope, light, and the kind of joy you deserved. And when it came back in 2023, attacking your body in ways that felt so unfair… you didn’t let it take your spirit. Not even for a moment. You’ve shown me what true courage looks like. What faith looks like. What it means to keep going, even when everything in your body is telling you it’s hard. You don’t just fight—you rise, again and again. You are more than this battle. You are love, strength, resilience, and grace all wrapped into one incredible woman. And no matter what, you will always be my biggest inspiration, my safe place, my big sissy. I am so proud of you. I love you more than words could ever hold. Keep kicking cancer in the butt—because that’s exactly who you are… a fighter, a warrior, and a light that nothing can ever dim. ✨ #teamtala
to everyone, remember you are strong, you are beautiful, you are you..through and through

Today I’m squatting with purpose. 💗 Every day, 56 Australians are diagnosed with breast cancer. That’s 56 families, 56 lives, and 56 stories that change in an instant. This squat challenge is my small way of showing support, raising awareness, and standing strong for those currently fighting, those who have fought, and those we’ve lost. Every squat represents strength, resilience, and hope. Together we can keep the conversation going, support research, and remind those affected that they are never alone. #BreastCancerAwareness #SquatChallenge #StrongerTogether #SupportAndStrength

Becky
My name is Becky, and in 2024, when I was 42, I spoke with my doctor about getting my first mammogram. Not because I had felt anything unusual or had a family history — it was just something that had been on my mind. She told me that up until the age of 50, I could get one free every two years and wrote me a referral. Off I went to BreastScreen Australia at the end of March to have my mammogram. That part was weird, but not as painful as I expected, and I went home assuming I’d get the all-clear. Then I received a text asking me to call them. They told me they needed to do a biopsy, as they had seen something on the images that may or may not be concerning. Long story short, I had the biopsy and an ultrasound. That day, I sobbed — worried about having to tell people and upsetting them, especially my kids. A week later, I went back for my appointment with my husband, and that’s when I found out I had a lump. I had already suspected it and had done my crying, so I was more in the mindset of, okay, what’s next? From that point on, everything felt like a rollercoaster — meeting with my surgeon, the radiation team, having my little radioactive seed implanted, and then surgery in June. After that, I started radiation. Here’s where I’m going to get emotional. During this time, I received an incredible amount of support from my manager, Julie Soric, Shilpi Choudhary (the other leader in Outbound), and my amazing team. Their support meant I could continue working as much as I was able to manage. Last June, I was told that I was officially in remission. I headed straight into work after the news, unsure of how I was supposed to feel. I can tell you — these emotions are wacky. What I would love for you to take away from my story is this: make your health a priority. Get the tests. Do the follow-ups. Look after your body and choose happiness. If you have any questions about any of this, please just reach out. I love a chat and am always happy to offer support where I can 😊 Happy squatting xx
Tania

I am doing 174 squats a day as part of the 5,394 Squat Challenge for breast cancer research. Each squat is a small act of commitment for the many women whose lives have been touched by breast cancer. Today, I want to place this on the tribute wall for the women I have known, cared for, and loved who have faced this disease. Most especially, this is for my grandmother, Josefa Mayo. Her strength, love, and memory continue to shape the person I am today. Every squat is a quiet reminder of her and of the many women whose stories deserve to be honoured.

💗 My Breast Cancer Journey 💗 Way back in 2014, my husband Scott and I had the kind of start to the year you’d never wish on anyone. In January 2014, Scott had a stroke. Doctors couldn’t work out why and told him to lose weight. We’d only been married about a year and a half — I wasn’t about to lose him that quickly. So we went all in. With help from a dietitian, Scott lost 15kg and I lost 10kg by Easter. That’s when everything changed. While showering one day, I felt a lump in my breast. I don’t know why, but I started crying straight away and called out to Scott to feel it too. We went straight to the doctor, who organised an ultrasound. While the sonographer was scanning, I told her about Scott’s stroke and our weight loss. She said something I’ll never forget: “You might not have found it if you hadn’t lost weight.” It felt like serendipity. I thank God every day for Scott’s stroke — because without it, I may not have found my lump until it was too late. The doctor wanted me to come in immediately for my results, but we had plans to go away to Couran Cove on a boat with Scott’s mate Ben. I knew what he was going to tell me, and I wanted one last carefree weekend. But the doctor insisted — and that’s when I heard the words no one ever wants to hear. We still went away. On the boat ride over to the island, dolphins surrounded us 🐬 and this incredible calm came over me. I just knew I was going to be okay. From there, it was go, go, go. We hadn’t had the chance to try for children yet, so we did IVF and stored embryos. I had two rounds of very strong chemo to shrink the lump, then a lumpectomy, more chemo, radiation, and Herceptin (which I called my “Pac-Man drug” — to clean up anything left behind). From April 2014 to January 2015, I was always undergoing some form of treatment. My cancer was estrogen-driven, and I was advised not to continue IVF. The next likely place for the cancer to return would have been my ovaries. That led to the incredibly hard decision to have a hysterectomy. It wasn’t easy — especially the hormone injections (Scott gave them to me each month… and wow, they hurt). We explored surrogacy, but that path didn’t work either. We still pay storage for our embryos because I can’t donate them due to carrying the BRCA gene. So when we go to John Flynn Hospital, we wave to our five “kids” 🥹. It’s now been over 10 years. I’m more than 10 years clear. I no longer see my oncologist but still see my breast specialist twice a year for scans and blood tests. I’ve had a few scares along the way, but I’m still here. It wasn’t an easy journey — but with Scott by my side, we laughed a lot. I truly believe laughter is powerful medicine. During chemo, we watched funny movies and shows, laughing so much the nurses would come in to check we were okay 😜. I’m incredibly grateful to still be here. You might notice my socials are full of affirmations, positivity and humour — that’s because I believe I survived for a reason. I’ll always advocate for breast cancer awareness and research. 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

My Why for this fundraiser - My Mum
Hello everyone, For those who don’t know me, I wanted to share a little about why I’m part of the squat challenge this year, and why it means so much to me. My beautiful Mum ended her cancer journey in August 2025 💟 She was the strongest, bravest, toughest, most resilient, kind and forgiving woman, right up to her very last moment. Mum originally battled cervical cancer, which was then followed by secondary lung cancer. Over time it spread aggressively, taking over her body in shapes, lumps and forms that no one should ever have to endure 😔 Despite everything, Mum fought for over six years from the day she was first diagnosed. And in true “Mum style,” she didn’t just fight; she showed up. In 2023, when her body still allowed her movement, she chose to take part in this very squat challenge. That year I took her on a holiday to Thailand because she was starting to get noticeably sicker, and I wanted her to experience seeing elephants, something she had always dreamed of. On the day we’d booked to visit the Elephant Samui Sanctuary, she was so unwell that she couldn’t make it… but she still did her squats. 🐘 Every single day in Thailand, she showed up for this challenge. She squatted on the beach while her grandchildren ran around her, squatted at the resort reception on arrival and departure, squatted at the airport, even squatted with a cocktail in hand. No matter how sick she felt, she pushed through because she believed in supporting cancer research in any form she could. It was her way of giving back and standing with others on their own cancer journeys. This year, I’m doing this challenge for her. To honour her strength, her spirit, and her endless determination. Every squat I do is for Mum, and for all the families walking the same heartbreaking path. If sharing her story inspires even one person to donate, to participate, or simply to appreciate the moments they have with the people they love, then her legacy continues in the most beautiful way. Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and thank you for the support - not just for me, but for what challenges like this represent! 💛 I love you Mum, to the moon and back, and again, and again, and forever xxx

This month I’m committing to taking on 56 squats a day as part of the 56 Squats a Day for Breast Cancer challenge 💗 This isn’t just about fitness. It’s about standing strong for the women (and men) we love. It’s about honouring the fighters, celebrating the survivors, remembering the angels, and supporting those who are still in the middle of their battle with breast cancer. Breast cancer touches so many families — including mine. So these 56 squats represent the thousands of people diagnosed each year, the strength it takes to face treatment, and the resilience shown every single day. Some days the squats will feel easy. Some days they won’t. But that’s the point — showing up anyway. I’m doing this for my beautiful family members and friends 💕 For the mums, sisters, aunties, grandmas, great grandparents, daughters, and friends. For the warriors. For the ones I hold close in my hearts. If you’d like to join me, donate, or simply cheer from the sidelines, I would be so grateful. Every squat is a reminder that we are stronger together. Let’s rise up, one squat at a time 💗🎗️

Rosa Solomon
This year I’m taking part in the Squat Challenge for Breast Cancer alongside my dear friend Wendy and it’s deeply personal to me. I turned 47 this year, the same age my beautiful Nonna was when she lost her life to breast cancer. Reaching this milestone has been incredibly reflective. It’s a powerful reminder of how precious life is and how critical awareness, research and support continue to be. I’ve also had the privilege of standing beside close friends as they faced breast cancer with remarkable strength and courage and thankfully, I’ve seen them win their fight. Witnessing both the heartbreak and the triumph makes this cause even more meaningful. If committing to daily squats can help raise awareness and funds to support research, prevention and those undergoing treatment, then it feels like a small but important way to contribute. Every squat is for my Nonna. Every squat is for my friends. Every squat is for the women and families still fighting. 💗
Laura C
I hope one day we can prevent cancers, so our loved ones don’t have to suffer.

Nan, you are our inspiration — and I’m so proud to call you mine 💕

With so much gratitude for you.

💗 For My Best Friend 💗 This fundraiser is for my beautiful best friend, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Hearing the news was heartbreaking. It made me realise how prevalent breast cancer still is and how much we still need better treatments and a cure. She is strong, brave, and deeply loved. This tribute is for her fight and for a future where no one has to face this diagnosis. Thank you for supporting and standing with us
For all those impacted by this research now and into the future.
This goes out to everyone affected by cancer, here's to one day discovering a cure for cancer once and for all.
Participating to support some amazing women who have fought and continue to fight the battle with breast cancer.

We are a group of mostly women who exercise together weekly. Within our group, indeed within our small town we all know a friend who has experienced a breast cancer battle. Our comittment to the squat challenge is to raise awareness, & funds to support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to the benefit of all those diagnosed now & into the future

This challenge is dedicated to the strong women I’ve had the privilege of knowing who have battled breast cancer. For the fighters, the survivors, and those no longer with us. Every squat is done in your honour.
MEL OLIVERI
I have endured 15 surgeries. Two breast implant rejections. Complications that nearly cost me my life. There were moments I didn’t know if I would make it. Moments of fear so deep it’s hard to put into words. Moments where my family carried the weight of uncertainty alongside me. Survival isn’t a straight line. It’s painful. It’s messy. It’s physically exhausting and emotionally relentless. Even when the cancer is “gone,” the aftermath remains — the scars, the trauma, the ongoing procedures, the rebuilding, the healing that never quite feels finished. Breast cancer doesn’t just attack the body. It challenges identity, confidence, relationships, and mental strength. But here’s what it didn’t take from me — my fight. I am still here. Through every surgery, every setback, every rejection, every complication… I chose to keep going. Not because it was easy, but because giving up was never an option. Today, I stand as a survivor — not untouched, not unchanged — but stronger. My scars tell a story of resilience. Of courage. Of a woman who refused to be defined by a diagnosis. This is why I support the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Because research matters. Because fewer women should have to endure what I endured. Because survival should not mean endless suffering. Breast cancer is more than a diagnosis. It’s a lifelong journey. And I’m still walking it — stronger than ever. My mother unfortunately is not I’m doing this in memory of Raffaella Mel

“I’ll support the fighters, admire the survivors & remember the angels”. Any form of cancer is very strong to me and my family. If there any way or form I can help to raise money or awareness for cancer I’m all for it. Unfortunately you never know when it could possibly happen to you or a loved one. I’ve known cousins and family friends who’s had breast cancer and it’s a long battle and it sucked watching them go through it. So I’m happy to help out.
Shaan

This isn't for anyone in particular, you just never know when you or someone close may be affected so why not support the foundation today.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer on 5th January 2023. First the operation then onto chemotherapy and finally radiation. I’m here. Not going to say it’s all behind me because it never is. The treatment does leave you with certain residual issues that you do manage to cope with. Posting this in support of all those currently battling, those we’ve lost, and the survivors who show us what resilience truly looks like.
Jessica Zaghet
I’m doing the squats challenge because I had a life changing experience 15 years ago and because of that my life is now very lonely, emotionally, physically tiresome and all and all just hard!!! If I could give anything back to make it a little bit easier for someone than I would do it in a heartbeat 💗 💗 💗
Lynn F
In the last 2 years I have watched and supported my close friend go through and win her fight with breast cancer. As she finished her treatment my sister was diagnosed and another close friend sadly diagnosed with stage 4. There is just too much out there so to find a cure so no one needs to suffer in the future would be amazing.
Anna
"I was diagnosed with breast cancer last October and underwent surgery in November, followed by radiation treatment from January to February. I'm grateful for the support I've received from my family, workplace, and the medical team. My diagnosis was detected through a routine mammogram, and I feel fortunate to have had access to timely care. I'm now looking to give back and show my appreciation for the care I received. I'd like to support research efforts and help reduce breast cancer mortality rates. I'm considering taking on a challenge to raise funds and awareness, and I'd love to involve the staff and family members who supported me throughout my journey.
Jess Fortanier

Natasha Eggleston
I am doing this challenge as my Grandma had breast cancer and my Mum was diagnosed in October last year. My Mum has come through her surgery and radiation treatments with flying colours but I have 2 daughters and I would love for there to be more treatment options or even better a cure for it 💕 I know treatment has come a long way but there is still more to be done and I am glad to be able to do my little bit to help 😊
Rachel Relf
I’m taking part in this squat challenge to support breast cancer research and to stand with my team, some who have seen the impact of this disease through family members they love. While I don’t have a personal experience myself, supporting them, and the countless families affected, is reason enough. This challenge is a way to strengthen my body while contributing to research that saves lives, improves outcomes, and brings hope for the future. Every squat is an act of support and solidarity.
Amber Ashby

It affects more than just one person - it touches families, friends and entire communities. I truly hope that my squats along with the funds raised, contribute in some small way to future research. Even if it helps save just one life, every single squat will have been worth it.

Olivia Cleland
This March, I’m taking part in the Squat Challenge to help make a difference to the lives of Australians impacted by breast cancer. Every single day, 56 Australians are diagnosed. That number isn’t just a statistic to me, it’s personal. I will be doing 56 squats a day to recognise this. It has taken me over a year to be able to speak openly about how this disease impacted my family, and about the grief of losing my mother to metastatic breast cancer. She was a fighter. She did everything she possibly could to beat it. But metastatic breast cancer is still incurable. That needs to change! Research is the only way forward. Research gives families more time, more options and more hope. I’m raising funds not only in mums memory, but for every family sitting in hospital rooms, holding hands, wishing for more time. For every woman who deserves better treatments, better outcomes, and a real chance at survival. I’m doing this for my mum, for my son and to honour her memory every single day. If you’re able to support me, whether it’s a small donation or simply sharing this. It would mean more than you know. Every dollar brings us closer to helping the National Breast Cancer Foundation end deaths from breast cancer. Love you always, Ma. Your strength lives on in us. 🤍
Heather
For my friends Karen T and Lynette B, a few squats are the least I can do!
This is for my mum, who we sadly lost after her brave battle with breast cancer. Her courage and love will always stay with us. For everyone who has ever faced cancer, or is facing it right now, we see your courage, we honor your strength, and we hold you in our hearts.
Geordie & Jo
Obviously, my wife went through this and has come out the other side!!! This is for her and all the others who have been affected!!
Deb Nash
Why am I squatting? I’m squatting for those who can’t. Those brave women battling Breast Cancer which is by far harder than doing daily squats. I’m squatting to raise money to help those beautiful battlers maybe one day being able to join me in fundraising for research to help generations to come💗
Sally Howard
My squats will continue to be a constant reminder of my dear Mum and my wonderful sister's diagnosis, fight and thankfully now, watched remissions of breast cancer. 🙏🏼 May it remain this way for the rest of their lives. I realise you are never too young to receive this silent and cancerous disease. I acknowledge all the brave souls who have bravely fought this battle, and lost. I wish those of you who are fighting this battle, strength and a positive outcome. I wish the breast cancer diagnosis to become a thing of the past, so no-one has to suffer this cause ever again. Please help me to raise funds to stop breast cancer, once and for all.
Wendy
This is for my Aunty Nola and sister in law Trina who battle this cures to the very end. Two beautiful amazing ladies taken well before your time
Trish Thomson
Today, I reflect on the remarkable women who have shaped my journey, each of them facing challenges with a level of strength that continues to influence me. To my mum, whose courage continues to inspire me every single day, even though you are no longer with us. You fought with everything you had, To my mother-in-law, who at 85 is having a mastectomy today. Your courage to face this procedure at this stage in life speaks volumes about your strength. Today, you are proving once again what it means to face challenges head-on with grace and resilience. And to myself—this year has been a test. Breast cancer hasn’t been easy, but I’ve learned a lot about my own ability to cope and carry on. Every day brings its challenges, but I’m learning to navigate them with a strength I didn’t know I had. The common thread between all three of us is this: we face life’s challenges head-on. It's not about feeling sorry for ourselves or giving in. It’s about living with purpose, taking things one step at a time, and drawing strength from each other. Today, as I think of all of us, I’m reminded that resilience doesn’t just come from surviving—it comes from how we carry ourselves through each challenge.
Edie
This is for my step Mum, who battled and beat breast cancer and is in remission. Every year is a blessing. This year, I’m taking part in the National Breast Cancer Squat Challenge in honour of my incredible mum, and the many strong women who have battled breast cancer — including those who are no longer with us. Breast cancer affects so many families. It changes lives in ways we can’t always put into words. I’ve seen first-hand the strength, courage, and resilience it takes to face this disease, and that’s why this challenge means so much to me. Every squat I complete is for my mum. For the survivors who continue to fight. For the women we’ve lost too soon. I’m raising funds to support life-saving research, vital support services, and to help bring hope to those currently facing a diagnosis. If you’re able to donate — big or small — I would be so grateful. Every contribution makes a difference and brings us one step closer to better treatments and, one day, a cure. Thank you for supporting me, supporting my mum, and supporting everyone impacted by breast cancer. 💗
Lissa
I am doing this for all of the survivors, especially my mum, mother in-law and some near and dear friends and the future survivors

Thankyou to my Dad's adoptive mum, you raised the man who lovingly raised me with patience and care. She died from breast cancer. The research they have now could have prevented her early death, that's why this is so important. Women and men- all those affected, of all ages and backgrounds can be treated due to the hard work of these foundations and everyone involved. Lets not stop there, 0 deaths is the goal!
Lisa Maree
We lost my Aunt towards the end of last year to breast cancer. So this year will be dedicated to her & her beautiful family. xx R.I.P Carol xx
Rach
Doing this for every person that this bastard disease has affected but most of all my baby girl who was diagnosed at 22 years old! She is an absolute superstar, with all that her poor little body has gone through, as well as the mental toll since she was diagnosed. Noone should have to have a mastectomy and get put into medial menopause at 22! Each and every person that has to face all the challenges of breast cancer is an absolute warrior!
Margo
I volunteer at Breast Screen Tasmania, and I sit with women who have been called back. Some go home early some stay and I see first hand the stress and worry. To all of those who get a diagnosis this is for you. To those families that have lost to BC this is for you. Lets hope we can increase our services, do more research and put an end to BC...
Chelsea

Kristine D'Auria
Every day, 56 Australians are diagnosed with breast cancer. That number isn’t just a statistic to me — it’s personal. My mum was one of them. I watched her face appointments, treatments, fear, and uncertainty with more strength than I knew was humanly possible. There were hard days. There were overwhelming days. But there was also courage, resilience, and a determination to keep going — no matter what. She is a survivor. And because she fought, because research exists, because support systems exist, I still get to hug her. I still get her advice. I still get her strength in my life. This is why I show up. This is why I squat. This is why I support this cause. For the 56 Australians diagnosed today. For the families who are walking through it right now. For the survivors. For the fighters. For my mum.
Emma

So many people around me have had to deal with this shitty cancer. I have had some answers to prayers and some beautiful people are now living free from Cancer but I have just recently lost a beautiful soul to this shitty cancer. So I hope the money I raise can help find a complete cure.

I’m taking on the Squats Challenge in honour of my beautiful mum Suzanne. She was first diagnosed with breast cancer in her mid-20s and had her left breast removed at just 27. She fought so hard, but in her 30s the cancer returned and spread to her bones and brain. We lost her at only 40 years old. I was 13. No child should have to grow up without their mum. I’m raising money to support further advancements in research and technology so that fewer families have to experience this kind of loss. Every donation helps bring us closer to better treatments, earlier detection, and more time with the people we love most. Thank you for supporting this cause 🤍
Doing this challenge in honour of my Aunty Chrissie's journey fighting breast cancer Remember to check your bits!
Krystal
In Loving Memory of bec Warren - There are some people whose presence touches our hearts so deeply that we carry them with us, always. Bec Warren was one of those rare souls. She was a beautiful and loving friend, wife, mumma to her beautiful fur babies. Bec never gave up and fought to the very end. I'm so thankful I got to meet her and be apart of her life. Xx

Island for Joy
In Loving Memory of Joy Maylin - There are some people whose presence touches our hearts so deeply that we carry them with us, always. Joy Maylin was one of those rare souls. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she defined love not just with her words, but with every action, every gesture, and every moment of selflessness. Her love for Graham, Narellee, David, and her grandchildren was profound and unwavering. She was the heart of her family, offering them her constant support, her endless patience, and the kind of love that shaped their lives in ways they will carry forever. Joy’s strength was unmatched and something we can all learn from. Even in the face of her battles, she showed us what it truly means to fight with grace, dignity, and resilience. She was a reminder that life isn’t just about surviving—it’s about living fully, embracing every moment, and continuing to love, even in the hardest of times. Her courage didn’t just inspire her family—it inspired everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Today, as we take part in this Breastfeeding Cancer Squat Challenge, we do so with Joy in our hearts. Her legacy of love, strength, and resilience pushes us to stand tall, to keep going, and to honour her memory by embracing life with the same fierce joy she did. Joy, you may no longer walk among us, but you live on in every act of love, every shared memory, and every step we take in your honour. You are forever etched in our hearts. We miss you more than words can say, but we will carry your light with us always.
Linlin Salinas

Breast cancer has touched our family over the past few months. We are incredibly thankful for regular scans that helped detect it early, and so grateful for the research and medical advances that have made this a fightable disease. This year, I’m doing Squats for the 56 Australians diagnosed every single day — including my amazing mum-in-law. Her strength, resilience and positivity through this journey have been nothing short of inspiring. I’m squatting in her honour, and for every family navigating this path right now. 💗

#checkyourbits If copping a squat for breast cancer isn't on your list for '26, choose the cancer you hate the most and do something to help prevent it. Every cancer benefits from every dollar put towards all cancer research. Modern science is a wonderful thing, however it's expensive. But we are worth it. Donate/don't donate - you do you, but please DO #checkyourbits

Leeann is the kind of woman whose strength doesn’t shout—it shines quietly, steadily and with endless grace. She survived breast cancer after losing one of her breasts and in that fight she also lost something she had carried her whole life, her long, beautiful hair. Chemotherapy and radiation took it strand by strand, but they never took her. They never touched her spirit, her kindness or her heart. If you know Leeann, you know she is one of the most kind-hearted people you will ever meet. She will do anything for anyone, without hesitation and without expecting anything in return. Her compassion is natural, effortless and deeply genuine. I’ve been lucky enough to share my life with her since 2010 and in that time she has never stopped showing up for me. She stood beside me through my Year 12 graduation, cheered me on as I got my license and supported me through one of the most important moments of my life—giving birth to one of her granddaughters. Through every chapter, every challenge and every milestone, Leeann was there. Leeann is the reason I chose to continue doing fundraisers for breast cancer. Watching her face the hardest battle of her life with courage and grace showed me how important awareness, support and hope truly are. Every fundraiser I take part in is inspired by her strength and done in her honour. She isn’t just someone I lived with. She isn’t just family. She is my best friend. She is proof that true beauty has nothing to do with hair, scars or what life tries to take from you. True beauty is resilience. It’s kindness. It’s love that never gives up—and that is Leeann

I have always tried my best to educate my students on the importance of standing up for what you believe in, showing love and support to others, bring awaerness to important topics like emotions and mental health, and most importantly to spread kindness. This is my way of putting my words into actions and showing them that it’s not an unrealistic goal and not to be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone.

Lisa Flynn
Doing this for my friend Lindy, who sadly lost her life to this terrible disease. Want to make sure more people don't have to loose their fight.
Julie
I'm doing this challenge because I am grateful for a clear mammogram test to date. I don't take my result for granted; this is also a tribute to my friend, who is my age, my aunt, and my mother-in-law, who have all been diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully, after treatment, they have all won their battle. I'm grateful the medical research was able to help them. I'm hopeful that the more funds raised, the more women can be saved.

I am completing this challenge for those 56 Aussie women who are diagnosed with breast cancer every single day. Together, we can make a lasting impact in the world of treatment research, give hope to patients, strength to survivors and honour to those who have passed.

What an incredible cause to be apart of. Sadly many lives are impacted by breast cancer. Without the support of the public researches wouldn’t be able to advance their studies as well as hope those families in need.
We got this 💗

I am doing this challenge for two very special friends who have both fought — and won — their battles with breast cancer. They are true champions in my eyes, and I am incredibly proud of the strength, courage, and grace they have shown throughout their journeys. I am so thankful that they are both now free of this disease.
Such a worthy cause. Too many women in my life have been affected by this horrible disease. Joining because every little bit helps 💕
This is my second year supporting this challenge in the hope that it helps fund so many more good things in this space.

Doing this in hope that there will be more breakthroughs to help with future treatments.
I’m doing the Squat Challenge this March in loving memory of my Aunty Lisa. She was so loving, hilarious, and full of sass, every memory I have with her is happy, and this is my way of honouring her and keeping her spirit alive.
Shanita
Im doing this for my Mum who is currently undergoing treatment for triple negative breast cancer. She recently made the brave decision to have a double mastectomy after months of chemo and immunotherapy that unfortunately did not work. She is my rock and is so brave like all the other women out there going through the same. Every bit of research counts to end the suffering.
Rachael
I’m doing this for my fellow Metastatic Breast Cancer thrivers who benefit from ongoing research and treatment options.

Doing this squat challenge in honour of my beautiful grandmother. Every squat is for her, for strength, for remembrance, and for hope. Breast cancer touches so many lives. If this encourages awareness, support, or a reminder to check in on yourself or someone you love, then it matters. 💕

Even though I haven’t known someone personally with breast cancer, I know how devastating and challenging this journey can be. Your strength, courage, and resilience are truly extraordinary.
I’m doing this challenge for the lovely women I know who have bravely fought this terrible disease 💙 For the suffering they have endured, and in memory of those who did not survive. You are never alone, and you will never be forgotten 🤍

Squatting and donating towards a cancer cure. Thinking of all those who have suffered or are suffering. Especially my Mum, who continues onwards, never complaining, inspite of it all.
