We want to make a difference to the lives of those 57 Australians impacted by the disease - that is why we are taking on the 57 Squat Challenge to raise vital funds for world-class breast cancer research. But we need your help.

Thursday 21st Mar

to be totally honest, I didn't forget to do squats yesterday - I didn't want to. I was wrecked after work and gym and just decided that it was okay to give them a miss. So here I am making up for it. 342 squats: done.

Today was Harmony Day and we wore orange to work to celebrate. We wear orange on Harmony Day because orange signifies social communication and meaningful conversations. It also relates to the freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect. Happy Harmony Day everyone

A quick reminder what this is about; all through March I’ve been participating in the 57 Squat Challenge for breast cancer research, with a target of 171 squats per day to raise fund for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

okay, it happened - I forgot to do my squats yesterday so a double batch today (342 squats). HALFWAY! I’m halfway through the 57 Squat Challenge, raising funds for Australians impacted by breast cancer. 171 sumo squats again today (ouch!).

Day 13: I’m still recovering from covid and my hip-flexors are on fire from all of these squats, but still pushing through. Thanks to everyone who has supported me and this fundraiser thus far ??

Day 12: so far I’ve done 2052/5301 squats and have raised $372/$500. I’m nearly at my fundraising goal, so if you are able to, please donate - every bit helps ?? Thank you Jen for your donation yesterday ?

Monday 11th Mar
halfway through re-watching Twilight I remembered I needed to do my squats. Squats featuring Luna, again. I think from here on out squat time = Luna’s play time. Also, this gal’s got COVID, hence why the squats are little baby ones today (my body is aching).

returned from a walk with Luna this morning to do my squats, and of course this silly doggo thinks squat time is play time ???

171 and done. 
So far, I’ve raised 64% of my fundraising goal - $319 of $500 (yay!), and I’ve completed 26% of my squat goal - 1,368 of 5,301 (oof!).

171 squats on International Women’s Day. And on that note, a very happy IWD to all cis women, trans women, nonbinary and intersex people ??
Just a little reminder why I’m squatting this March: 57 people get diagnosed with breast cancer in Australia every day. I’m doing 5301 squats this month to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation to fund breast cancer research. Every donation over $2 is tax deductible ??

171 squats done for today. I’m regretting setting this target but I’m committed to getting them done ?? So far I’ve done 1197 squats and have raised $319.

Another late one, but got ‘em done. I did a little Hyper session this evening too, so my legs are on fire ? all for a good cause, of course. Thanks again to my donors so far, Michelle, Bri & Guy ? There’s still plenty of time to donate! ??

Today has been jam-packed. I just got back from watching Dune: Part Two, which was excellent, when I remembered to do my 171 squats for today ???? peek Luna the doggosaurus trying to distract me ?

I finished my Strength Endurance class at the gym (today celebrating PRIDE and raising funds for minus18, hence the outfit ?) and got home to do my squats while I was still warm ??
