Swim for Nonna, Swim for Breast Cancer ?????
This November, I’m taking on the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s Swim for Breast Cancer challenge and swimming 27km for my Nonna Giovanna, who has been bravely battling breast cancer. Every lap is for her, and every 9km is for the 9 people in Australia who die from breast cancer every day.
This year feels extra personal. I lost my Nonno earlier this year to cancer, and I can’t imagine cancer taking my Nonna too. She’s been by my side my whole life, watching me grow up, and I honestly wouldn’t know what I’d do without her.
Last year I swam 9km, but this year I want to push further, and I want you to join me. Instead of tackling 27km alone, I’m inviting friends, family, and anyone who wants to make a difference to add your swim to my total. Whether you’re swimming for someone you’ve lost or someone fighting breast cancer right now, we are never in this alone.
Every lap counts. Every donation makes a difference.
Join my team and help me reach 27km.
Let’s swim for hope. Let’s swim for life.
