I'm now a Pink Hero
Every day in Australia, 58 people are diagnosed with breast cancer — and sadly, 9 lives are lost to this disease daily.
Breast cancer is a cause that has touched many of us personally, but thanks to
incredible advances in research, we've seen real progress in detection,
treatment, and survival rates.
This June, I'm taking on a colourful challenge — colouring my hair PINK — to raise vital funds for world-class breast cancer research.
Since 1994, the NBCF
has helped increase the five-year survival rate from 76% to 92%, an incredible
achievement made possible through community support. I'm proud to support the National
Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) and their inspiring vision of achieving zero
deaths from breast cancer.
I have previously been able to raise $2,612 — and this I’m hoping to beat that figure and reach $3,000!
Every donation, no matter the size, will help me get closer to my goal and make a real impact.
