SIMPLY THE BREAST - fun run raiser
Hey everyone I'm having a go at fundraising for breast cancer. I will be training for and then hopefully participating in and finishing the Perth Marathon in October as the main way to show my support and raise money out of respect for my mother in law, Tania Terlick, who is currently fighting breast cancer. I'm very proud of her and the way she is handling this difficult time in her life - It has been equal parts scary and inspiring to see her fight and a timely reminder that life is precious and its good to be alive.
I've put a few statistics below about how shockingly common this type of cancer is. Please donate anything you can to help me reach my goal - no pressure here though times are tough and money is tight so if you cannot that is fine. Please feel free to share or send on to anyone and everyone.

Breast cancer statistics in Australia:
· Approximately 57 Australians are diagnosed with breast cancer every day, totaling over 20,000 diagnoses annually.
· 1 in 7 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
· About 1 in 500 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
· Breast cancer is estimated to account for approximately 28% of all new cancers in Australian women.

Sunday 29th Sep Given there’s only one week out I figured I should finally post again…social media and blogging is not my strong point! The build up and training has been difficult. Between being very busy at work and a pretty bad run of illness that I’m still not right from I’ve felt exhausted most times and running has been a chore to say the least haha. But I am content I have done my best and looking forward to Sunday.Thank you to my Supporters
