I'm now a Pink Hero
This is my second year fundraising for Breast Cancer Research. I began this journey last year to support my mum, Evelyn, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2024. Mum is still undergoing treatment, and while her outlook is positive, not everyone will have the same experience.
By raising funds and awareness, my hope is that in the future, anyone diagnosed with cancer will have a more favorable outlook. Every contribution brings us closer to better treatments, more support, and ultimately, a cure.
Did you know that every day 58 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 Australians die every day from this disease?
I've decided to host an event and raise funds for world-class breast cancer research to help National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
