I have chosen to make a difference

I have chosen to Give it Up for Breast Cancer. By taking part, I am challenging myself to go without alcohol and junk food for one month. 

I want a world where there are ZERO deaths from breast cancer. My mum and some of her close friends are breast cancer survivors. It is all too common now. I believe every death from breast cancer is one too many. To achieve this, I’m raising funds for more research. All donations made to this page will help do exactly that.

Hey all! 
I'm so thrilled and grateful for all the support I've received so far. Yesterday was my mum's bday and I said no to champagne and cake! It is mainly for her I'm doing all this. My mum has been cancer free for 10 years now. I cannot believe there was a time where I might have almost lost her. 
She is lucky, but 9 Australians will lose their life to Breast Cancer everyday still. 
Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia and 1 in 7 women and about 1 in 700 men WILL be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. 
Any donation will make a difference and it is tax deductible!

The Beginning

Hey guys! I’ve decided to give up junk food and alcohol for a month to raise money for breast cancer. My mum is a breast cancer survivor now for 10 years. She and some of her close friends are survivors. I also know of people who have lost loved ones to this horrible disease. I want a world where breast cancer is no longer heard of, but is a thing of the past. I’d appreciate any donation you can offer. Anything over $2 is tax deductible.
