Migrating with the whales: 27km (16.8 mi) of swimming for Breast Cancer
Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd become an ocean swimmer, but over the past four years, I've not only embraced it - this November, I'll become active shark bait - I mean I'll be joining the migrating whales - on a weekly basis to raise money for Breast cancer.
Breast cancer affects millions and if I can contribute through this campaign while supporting those impacted, then every stroke will be worth it. 27 kms in a month, or 16.8 miles, is 4 times more than I regularly swim now, so this is a stretch and I'm up for the challenge!
