Support my challenge to swim for breast cancer!
9 people in Australia die from breast cancer every single day. That's terrible.
This November, I am taking part in the 9km Swim For Breast Cancer for those who are impacted by this devastating disease.
I am doing this to raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives. It's going to be a real struggle for me but I'm going to give it a go.

2nd swim completed
Wednesday 6th Nov Yesterday after work we went for a family swim. Isla practised her breast stroke and diving. It was a bit chilly in the pool and it took me a fair while to get in! How do people swim in the winter?!
First km done
Sunday 3rd Nov After watching Isla swim in her races this morning, I completed my first km swim. This is 20 lengths of the outdoor 50m pool. I am a bit slow and have to stop for a breather now and again but I’m so happy I did it. Need to work on my front crawl to manage more than 25m of this at a time. Arms are sore already.Thank you to my Sponsors
