I'm celebrating my birthday with NBCF this year!
Dear Friends,
This year, my birthday is going to be a little different and extra special!
When I was seven, I found out my mum had breast cancer. It was hard to understand, but I saw how much pain it caused her. Even now, as she recovers, there are days when she can’t get out of bed or enjoy simple things in life. But she’s so strong and determined to beat cancer, and she inspires me every day.
Did you know that every day 58 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 people lose their lives to this disease? I’ve decided to celebrate my birthday and raise funds for world-class breast cancer research to help the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
Instead of bringing me a present this year, I’m asking you to donate to cancer research. Together, we can help families like mine and find better treatments for breast cancer.
Please support me and my pledge to save lives and make a difference. Every donation, big or small, will get me closer to reaching my goal. Together, we can stop deaths from breast cancer.
