My mum passed away from breast cancer when I was five years old. Every time I have that awkward conversation and explain this to someone, I remind myself that the fact it’s an awkward conversation is actually a gift, because it shows how uncommon it has become.
But there are still people and families facing the challenges of breast cancer every day. With your support, we can continue to fund research, improve treatments, and work towards a future where no child has to have that conversation.
