Why We’re Going Pink — And Why You Should Join Us!

At Paxton Bowling Club, our Paxton Bowls for Boobs crew is turning bowls pink on Saturday 27th June — and we want YOU with us. We are rolling up in style to support Go Pink in June, a fundraiser that hits close to home for so many of our families, friends, and neighbours.

Breast cancer isn’t just a statistic — but the numbers remind us why showing up matters. 56 Australians are diagnosed every single day, adding up to more than 20,000 people each year. That’s 1 in 7 women and 1 in 600 men who will face this disease in their lifetime. And heartbreakingly, over 3,300 Australians lose their lives to breast cancer each year.

But here’s where we come in.

When our community comes together — laughing, bowling, cheering, wearing pink — we are not just raising money, We are raising hope, awareness, and support for those fighting today and those who will face the fight tomorrow.

So grab your mates, your brightest pink gear, and your best bowling attitude. Let’s fill the club with pink, fun, and purpose. Let’s bowl for the people we love. Let’s bowl for change. Let’s BOWL FOR BOOBS.
