My Squat Challenge for breast cancer research
56 Australians will be diagnosed with breast cancer today and a further 9 will die. I want to make a difference to the lives of those 56 Australians impacted by the disease - that is why I am taking on the Squat Challenge to raise vital funds for world-class breast cancer research. But I need your help.
Please support my squat challenge to save lives and make a difference.
Every donation, big or small, will get me closer to reaching my goal and helping the National Breast Cancer Foundation end deaths from breast cancer.

Another Day of Preparation for The Squat Challenge in March 2026
Friday 13th FebShare@nicolesunflowersolace This March I will be participating in the Squat Challenge for the National Breast Cancer Foundation here in Australia to not only honour my beautiful mum who lost her fight with Breast Cancer on July 3rd 2025 💔💔💔 I am also participating in this challenge for every Australian affected by this devastating disease each day, but also anyone who has been affected, while I can’t help to also think about everyone around the world who is affected by this disease or has been affected by this horrible disease, My heart goes out to you all & let’s keep fighting for Zero Deaths from Breast Cancer and all other Cancers that we lose our loved ones to even though they show such great strength and resilience in their courage to fight so I will Squat, Walk, or Do whatever I can to help raise funding for amazing charities such as the National Breast Cancer Foundation for anyone out there who needs support 🩷🩷🩷 Today I had my 3 month reassessment with my physiotherapy since starting with Evolve Pilates and Exercise Physiology in November 2025 when I needed to find a new & more suitable physiotherapy program to continue with my post cervical spine surgery in August 2024 but continuing to treat my Seronegative Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Bilateral Throcanteric Bursitis in my Hips and a few new health issues I’m not ready to talk about yet! But with doing Reformer Pilates, Strength Training Exercises and Regular Walks in the past 3 months with thanks to Talisha for helping me stay on track & having faith in me, she’s helped me reach goals that I never thought I would ever reach again & while you only see a short video, I actually did 100 pushups today as Talisha said just go until you can’t stop but I didn’t hear her correctly and thought we were seeing how many pushups I could do in 60 seconds so when I complained that it was a long 60 seconds and she explained my confusion but also told me that I was at 76, how could I not want to push myself to get to 100 lol I could only do 19 when I started in early November so I think I smashed it 🤩 #NBCF #nbcfsquatchallenge The fact that I am still able to walk after coming so close to being in a wheelchair for the rest of my life is not something I will ever take for granted!
