Support my challenge to swim for breast cancer!
A few stats according to the National Breast Cancer foundation: - 9 people in Australia die from breast cancer every single day.
- Approximately one woman under the age of 40 is expected to die each week from breast cancer.
- In the last 10 years, breast cancer diagnosis have increased by 24%
So, this November I am taking part in Swim For Breast Cancer for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loves ones who are impacted by this devastating disease.
I am hoping to raise awareness of this dire issue and while also hopefully motivating the women in my life to be proactive about their health!
One of the people I love dearest had championed through when she was diagnosed. I am constantly inspired by her and I am lucky to be able to call her a role model!
I hope the thousands of laps I’ll do will raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives.
