This November, I'm taking on Swim For Breast Cancer to honor the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends, and loved ones impacted by this devastating disease. Breast cancer took my grandmother on my father’s side before I was born, and my family has faced some close calls with this illness. Every day, 9 people in Australia lose their lives to breast cancer.

I’m doing this challenge not only to support women and fund vital research through the National Breast Cancer Foundation but also to push my own limits—just weeks ago, my only swimming experience was from childhood lessons and school carnivals. This will be tough, but I'm ready!
