Support my challenge to swim for breast cancer!

9 people in Australia die from breast cancer every single day. I'm swimming 50km this November to entice people to donate to this cause!

This November, I am taking part in Swim For Breast Cancer for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loves ones who are impacted by this devastating disease.

I am doing this to raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives.

Maybe the second angriest swim!?!

Wednesday 13th Nov
Goodness gracious everybody I know sports are fun but my childhood conditioning would tell me otherwise!!! This was my second angriest swim ever, narrowly defeated by my 2km swim in Berlin last month. Don’t even start me! 

Monday 4.2!

Tuesday 5th Nov
A quick little run around yesterday. Not many thoughts apart from 'why do I have Tchaikovsky on my MP3 and how long does 1812 Overture go for because this is slowing me down (except for the hype bits).  

Sunday Splash!

Sunday 3rd Nov
Did a quick 3km on a VERY toasty 29 degree Sunday. Lots of lane entertainment throughout the session. Maybe there's a gap in the literature for a lap swimming etiquette manual!!!  

Saturday 5k!

Saturday 2nd Nov
Went for a little scrape. Headphones ran out of battery within the first 500m. Lots left to think about. Thought about the following during the rest of the swim:
1. If you put heck and funk together you get hunk. Sort of.
2. What the hunk is that person in the lane next to me doing?
3. I can't swim any longer with that hunking sausage sizzle smell.

I am swimming 27km for my friend, TM and others
