Support my challenge to swim for breast cancer!
9 people in Australia die from breast cancer every single day.
This November, I am taking part in Swim For Breast Cancer for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loves ones who are impacted by this devastating disease.
I am doing this to raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives.
Please make a donation to support my challenge and let’s make a splash to save lives together!
Thank you for your support.

Thanking you all!
Thursday 28th Nov A huge thank you to all the incredible supporters, especially the generous donors. Your contributions make a real difference for the foundation and for past, present, and future cancer patients.Cancer is a battle no one should have to face, and it’s always difficult to process its impact. I’m fortunate to have friends who are proud survivors, and they inspire me every day. This cause means so much to me, and I’m grateful for every bit of support.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me!
Tapes and dressings
Wednesday 20th Nov Should you swim after getting a tattoo? Swimming has helped me tremendously to switch off and practise mindfulness especially in the cool downs. I had lots of pent up energy the first few days post new tattoo. It had been challenging. So I got some dressings and tapes, I still don’t recommend this just because I need to rotate my forearm in swimming and this has limited my range of motion. Of course the risks inherited with reaction to chemicals. I strip dressing immediately once showered down a bit, clean with water and dry. Then apply the tatt after care moisturiser. It is all how you manage and balanced these risks. I swam only freestyle, tested butterfly and breaststroke. No more than 30 minutes the last two times. Spacing out my swims this week too. ShareGot a new tatt
Wednesday 20th Nov So haven’t been swimming much in the past ten days. Started again a bit this week and have applied dressings and lots of tapes. Have had nice 3 relaxing swims and 1 stressful one because my tape was loosening on Tuesday! ShareThank you to my Sponsors
