Support my challenge to swim for breast cancer!
Hey!
In the month of November I will be swimming 9km each week in honour of the mothers, sisters and daughters, whose lives are lost from Breast Cancer.
Every day in Australia, 9 females loose their battle from this horrible disease. I am participating in this fundraiser in memory of one of the best mothers, sisters and daughters whose life was taken earlier this year to Breast Cancer - Lexie.
9km each week adds up to 360 laps of a 25m pool. To make this challenge a bit harder I am going overseas on the 25 November, meaning I will have to swim 4 weeks worth of 9km’s before then, adding up to a total of 36kms (1,140 laps)
My goal of $1000 will go directly to National Breast Cancer Foundation to support vital breast cancer research.
