Go pink for breast cancer
Saturday 16th May Last year August, my life changed. I found a lump in my right breast. Very small and I wasn’t really worried. My husband urged me to see my Gp asap as I do have breast cancer in my family. I saw my Gp on the Tuesday, referred to the breast clinic on the Wednesday and diagnosed with breast cancer on the Thursday. The following Wednesday , I saw a breast surgeon and I was booked for a lumpectomy for the next Wednesday. Surgery went well, the cancer was removed fully with 2 clear lymph nodes. A good outcome but I still had to have 16 rounds of radiation. It’s harder than it sounds.Thank you to my Sponsors
