My Squat Challenge for breast cancer research

56 Australians are diagnosed with Breast Cancer each day, that's 20,440 people a year. This is why donations are so important to fund Breast Cancer Research.

After winning the Pink Plate earlier this year, I knew I wanted to give back in a meaningful way. Unfortunately, due to only finding out I would be attending this year a little over 2 weeks out from the event, I wasn’t able to fundraise — since the Pink Plate event means so much to me and I was able to take home that long awaited win, I feel that it is even more important to contribute beyond the track.

The Pink Plate event is proudly hosted by Albury Wodonga Kart Club, who are working towards their incredible goal of raising $30,000 for breast cancer research. Everyone who fundraised managed to raise a huge $24,718, so this is my way of stepping up off track and helping AWKC get closer to that target.

Every donation goes directly towards life-saving breast cancer research through the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
