My beautiful cousin Kate was taken from us far too soon. Cursed with the BRCA2 gene, Kate was diagnosed with breast cancer young. She fought it, with some success, after gruelling treatment and a double-mastectomy. 

Kate devoted herself to learning about nutrition, holistic healing and living a healthy, natural life, not just for her own health, even more so for her kids. She was published on her learnings and acted as an ambassador and mentor to others fighting breast cancer.  

Kate brought her passion, empathy and fierce but positive energy to everything she did, and she fought cancer to the end. Losing her has left a huge hole in many people's lives, none more so than her beautiful children and husband. 

So, in Kate's honour, I'm going to put my thighs through some suffering, and hopefully raise some money to support other people fighting cancer.

Anything you can afford to donate will be deeply appreciated and goes to research by the National Breast Cancer Foundation to end deaths from breast cancer.
